About Us

The founders of NowPray.com are Michael and Laura Gravlee.  We are committed believers seeking the presence of the Lord for our lives, our community, our nation, and our world.  In this same group are other believers who have helped to create NowPray for you. We will introduce them as they allow us, but for now, know that there is a committed team of people creating this resource for believers all over the globe to help facilitate one of the great outpourings of the Holy Spirit!

NowPray.com is founded for a single purpose and on a single scripture.  In 2004, I traveled to Bolivia on a missionary trip and worked with my friends there in Santa Cruz led by Fernando Vargas.  One of the pastors there, Pastor Marlee, gave me a scripture when I was preparing for one of the church services.  Neither of us knew at the time the reason behind this, but she obeyed the voice of the Lord and gave me the scripture printed on a napkin.  I still have that napkin!  Only a few months ago did I come across the napkin while I was looking for something else.  Immediately I knew what the verse was about.  NowPray.com!

Zechariah 8:20-23
And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.

It may not minister to you like it did to me.  But I have been working on NowPray.com since August of 2005.  And I found the napkin again in April 2006 - it really helped me to press on when the vision was mine to carry!

NowPray.com is created to promote and facilitate prayer in the body of Christian believers around the world.  We are not working to start a new church, a new denomination, a cult, or anything of the sort!  We are working for the Kingdom of God by creating a tool that will facilitate prayer for believers in all parts of the world - we are literally facilitating the ability for people from one city to go to another person or group to pray NOW before the Lord!
